Urban Livestock started long before the move back to Northwest Arkansas, but for the sake of a long story, UL was fully established in early 2023. Kamden and Whitney met at Oklahoma State University and eventually moved back to Prairie Grove, Arkansas, where they now reside. Kamden and Whitney Urban, along with their son Hudson, are passionate about raising quality club lambs and helping young exhibitors succeed in the show ring across the country.
Kamden has spent his entire life in the sheep industry on a national level, and spent many years alongside his dad, and industry legend, Ritson Urban, learning and listening. With a passion for keeping the industry moving in the right direction and a natural talent for seeing livestock, Kamden has built an extremely successful program backed by industry leading genetics.
Whitney is no stranger to the livestock industry, either. Growing up in the cattle barn, she travelled coast to coast showing heifers with her family and the Willow Springs Cattle Company team. If you ask Whitney today, it's a coin flip on if she likes sheep or cattle more!
As a family, they are growing both the Urban Livestock and the Urban Sires sectors of their operation.
